Dia de Muertos Celebration at Free Bird Café - Last year, we saw cultural appropriation of Día de Muertos at other venues, where it was used mainly as a theme to attract customers. Día de Muertos is not Mexican Halloween or a trend. It is a sacred Mexican and Mesoamerican tradition rooted in remembrance, grief, love and honouring those who have passed. We’re proud to continue sharing this tradition in Chiang Mai through a collective altar, music and community. Workshops and activities to be announced soon.
